Topical numbing cream is applied and left on for 20–30 minutes. The skin is then cleansed and prepped. A pre-treatment skincare protocol may be recommended for certain skin types.
The 1540 Erbium handpiece is passed over the treatment area in controlled passes. Most full-face sessions take 30–60 minutes. You may feel warmth or mild prickling during treatment.
Expect redness and mild swelling for 3–7 days. Most patients notice a visible glow following their first session. Full collagen remodeling results emerge over 3–6 months across a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
