Both VI Peel and PRX are formulated to be safe and effective across a full range of skin tones, including Fitzpatrick IV–VI.
We evaluate your skin type, tone, and concerns to select the right peel and formulation, whether that's VI Peel Precision Plus for pigmentation or PRX for no-downtime collagen stimulation.
The skin is cleansed and prepped. For VI Peel, a pre-peel protocol may be recommended. No numbing is typically required, peels have a self-neutralizing warming sensation.
The peel solution is applied evenly across the treatment area. VI Peel is left to absorb and removed at home per post-care instructions. PRX is massaged in and wiped off in-office, no take-home steps needed.
VI Peel patients experience 3–7 days of gradual peeling as the skin renews. PRX patients see an immediate glow with no shedding. Full VI Peel results reveal themselves at the 7–10 day mark, visibly brighter, more even skin.
